The toddler stage of a human being is the best time to learn and expand their mental capacity to their utmost ability. Toddlers learn through various occurrences – touching, hearing, falling, and many more.

There are hundreds of fun activities for toddlers, allowing your toddler to grow mentally, while having fun. It is important for your toddler to take part in fun activities, in order to grow in many ways.

A great activity for your toddler is allowing them to play with household objects. The objects must present no hazards, so be sure they are safe when in your toddlers control. Have your toddler hold and feel the object, and tell you what it is. This is a great way for your toddler to burn some mental energy, through learning the names of new objects.

Visit the local Wal-Mart, or other department store, and buy a whole bunch of bean bags. Toddlers love to toss around bean bags. Wash some old socks, and allow your toddler to use the socks as a sac for the bean bags. Simply tossing these bean bags around can help your toddler burn a lot of energy, and have a much better sleep at night. In turn, you will also have a better sleep, as you will not have to awake to the crying sounds of your toddler. Bean bags are one of the many fun activities for toddlers.

Take your toddler to the local museum. Once again, human’s best learn at the toddler stage of their life. Toddlers will experience many new things at the museum, expanding their mental capacity. Once again, simply walking around the museum, will allow your toddler to burn off a lot of their energy, and get a better nights sleep that night.

Connecting the dots has been one of the most popular fun activities for toddlers through the years. You can find a lot of connect the dot templates online. Print them out, put them in front of your toddler with a crayon, and explain to them the basic concept. They will probably not connect all the dots perfectly, but it is a process that will teach them how too eventually.

Hide and Seek is one of the most popular and fun activities for toddlers for many years. Toddlers get an amazing thrill from playing hide and seek. Switch it up with your toddler – you hide, and they have to find you, and then they hide, and you have to find them. This way, your toddler will learn both aspects of the game. When you are hiding, do not make it impossible for your toddler to find you. Remember, the purpose is for them to have fun and learn. Making yourself impossible to find could scare and upset them.
